Offices

Two offices, one dispatcher

Most residential calls start from the service office on Richmond St NW on the west side of Grand Rapids. The head office on Lamoreaux Dr NW in Comstock Park, north along the Alpine corridor, handles commercial scheduling, the northern townships and the larger installs that need staging.

Wherever you are, the same number rings through to a person at any hour. If a job is outside our usual area, or our schedule is full, we will say so plainly and help you find someone who can come sooner.

Local conditions

What changes from one part of the area to another

Grand Rapids housing runs from Victorian homes in Heritage Hill and bungalows in Eastown, Creston and Alger Heights to newer subdivisions on the northeast side, and the work changes with it: knob-and-tube and fuse boxes in the older neighborhoods, EV chargers and generators in the newer ones.

Outside the city, the rural townships of Ionia, Barry, Montcalm and Allegan counties bring well pumps, barns and backup power into the mix. Storms reach every part of the area; after the June 2026 wind storms, out-of-state line crews were staged along Alpine Avenue in Walker, a few minutes from both offices.
